Sažetak
Basic research motivation is the improvement of CMS detector end-cap part which is being replaced with a newly designed one by using an advanced silicon sensor technology. Doctoral candidate's research work has the goal to define and implement algorithms for generation of basic objects, so called Trigger Primitive Generation. This requires some basic analysis of the new CMS detector geometry as a preprocessing step, taking into account the constraints and the specific properties of the detector that can later influence on the recognition process.
