Sažetak
‘Life marked by enthusiasm and devoted to scientific work‘ (note on the occasion of celebration of 80 years of life ; POLIMERI, 22 (2), 2001) could be the motto of the life of academician Dragutin Fleš. What links the most academician Fleš and professor Ružička is an opinion that the results of scientific research must be applicable in the industry. 'Today science – tomorrow industry!' These two extraordinary scientists have devoted their whole professional life to scientific research. The effort to write this Abstract and to give presentation, at 'Ružička Days 2018', has been an enjoyable and nostalgic look at the several years of my professional engagement in joint scientific research with professor Dragutin Fleš.
