Sažetak
Analysis of the Marco-Polo project, where an innovative pusher-barge would transport containers at 35knts between the US to Europe, thus reaping significant savings in comparison to traditional container vessels. A calculation comparing the costs of pusher barges with traditional container vessels is made. The cost savings are significant and justify further analysis into this Marco Polo Projecttransport
