Sažetak
Many large shipyards are located in populated vicinities. Therefore, some ship production processes potentially have significant impact on health and environment of the related community. One of the major tasks for all included parties is to find a compromise between shipyards interests, environmental protection, current regulations and local community interest. In this paper, authors have analyzed the shipyard production process regarding its ecological and community impact. In such way, a ship surface pre-painting treatment process is identified as most critical one regarding environmental protection. Furthermore, a large number of possible approaches to such process are identified and the methodology for selection of an optimal one based on AHP method is suggested.
