Sažetak
Non-heart beating donor (NHBD) represent a considerable source of kidneys for transplantation. In the beginning of our activity NHBD were the only kind of cadaver donors. Later beating-heart donors became the most important donors. The great shortage of kidneys for transplantation obliges us to find new sources of kidneys. NHBD seem actually the most realistic.
