Identifikacijom oznaka na poleđini slike Bijeg Lota i njegove obitelji iz Sodome iz Strossmayerove galerije bilo je moguće pratiti kretanje slike na tržištu umjetninama u 20. st., ali i utvrditi izvorno podrijetlo slike.
