Sažetak
There are many electrically conductive textile materials can be used as a protection from the high- frequency (HF) radiation and low-frequency (LF) electric fields. The textile materials can include copper, nickel, silver or inox threads as well as some other metals. The measurement setup for finding shielding effectiveness (SE) of a material can be done according to the recommendations of the international standards It consists of a signal generator, a horn antenna, barrier into which the shield made of electrically conductive material is positioned and a measuring instrument, usually spectrum analyzer with calibrated antenna. The wearability of the material can be an issue since the process of dry cleaning might degrade the shielding effect of the conductive textile materials.
