Sažetak
A capacity of descriptive geometry courses was radically cut down as the Bologne process was introduced at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb. Most students come across descriptive geometry courses for the first time at the first year of studying. Because of a limited time within the teaching program, we aim to obtain the application of theoretic geometric problems in the shortest time possible. Through this studying process students find the area ''Shades and Shadows'' the most difficult to overcome. In order to facilitate the understanding and the application of this area, we present the acquired knowledge through several educational exercises.
