Sažetak
Petunia hybrida L. is annual flower species which is largerly used for flower beds and pots. This research was carried out to analyse the effect of diverse types of fertilisers on the morphological features of petunia seedlings, as well as to decide on the most appropriate concentration of fertiliser in order to obtain the highest quality of „Duvet Pink“ Petunia seedling. Two different types of liquid fertilisers were used in this experiment - Magnicvet and Magnihortal with six variants. Each variant comprised 15 plants or a total of 90 plants used in the experiment. 15 plants were measured per variant 40 days after planting into plastic containers and the following biometric parameters were analysed: plant height (cm), stem thickness (mm), number of branches, number of flower buds and number of flowers. Measurements of biometric parameters showed that the liquid mineral fertiliser Magnicvet with NPK 7-1-5 + ME is more appropriate as compared with the liquid mineral fertiliser Magnihortal with NPK 10-5-5 + ME concerning the reinforced nutrition and eventually the enhanced quality of P. hybrida „Duvet Pink“ seedlings. Moreover, the results showed that fertiliser that contains reduced quantity of nitrogen and phosphorus is more suitable for reinforced nutrition of P. hybrida „Duvet Pink“ seedlings. Variant number 1 (Magnicvet 0.2%) showed the greatest average height of seedlings and the highest average number of flowers, while the variant number 2 (Magnicvet 0.3%) showed the highest average stem thickness, average number of branches and average number of flower buds.
