Sažetak
A line of current efforts in CAD research is directed towards implementing AI methods in such systems thus enabling support for earlier stages of product design process. The paper proposes a structure of such ICAE system. An approach to design process representation through design plan database is presented. A sequence of events for problem solving in particular design is described with entities of database structure.
