Sažetak
Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina form one unit regarding geography and traffic. Large regions of Croatia (Slavonia and Dalmatia) can be connected only through Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina is connected southwards (the Mediterranean, port of Ploče), northwards and westwards with the world through the Croatian teritory. The land border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is about as long as the joint border with the neighbouring countries. Therefore, the development of both countries significantly depends on the development of their traffic systems both regarding road as well as rail, water and air traffic.
