Sažetak
Th is study introduces to the representation of power during the late Middle Ages. Th e main historiographical positions on this subject are here examined by analysing some peculiar cases of visual narration of power, with and without the depiction of «stories». A special focus is placed on heraldry and on those geographical areas that are not usually considered in art historical studies
