Sažetak
The dissertation is devoted to the experimental and theoretical research of lateral pressure of strength anisotropic granular media considering technological factors in stiff closely placed parallel walls. The direct shear experiments at different angles of the grains in the filling to the shear plane, 0°, 30°, 60° and 90°, and measurements of the lateral pressure at the angles of grains filling to the horizontal 0°, 45° and 90 in the model with closely spaced rigid wall was conducted for two granular media. The results showed significant shear strength anisotropy and difference of the lateral pressures. In the theoretical part the generalization of the Janssen’s solution and solution for strength anisotropic media at different angle of filling θ was developed. For numerical analysis, the computer program was composed. The experimental results and numerical calculation of lateral pressure showed qualitative convergence.
