Sažetak
The relaxation processes in 4, 4'-dibromobenzophenone (DBrBP) have been studied by examining Raman spectra of oriented single crystal in temperature interval between 10 K and 295 K. The band shapes for several low frequency vibrations have been analysed by fitting them to Lorenzian band profile. For most of the bands the width showed a linear variation with temperature in the classical regime. This behaviour is interpreted in terms of three-phonon decay processes. The nonlinear temperature dependence observed for one phonon was explained by pure dephasing process.
