Sažetak
Small and medium enterprises are an important segment of the Croatian economy with 99.7% share in all enterprises, 54% share in total revenues, 69% share in employment and 50% share in total exports. Further development of this sector will depend on the responses to the main challenges identified by international research, such as: small share of growing enterprises, administrative barriers to the implementation of entrepreneurial activity, lack of entrepreneurship education and undeveloped non-traditional sources of financing.
