Sažetak
The paper deals with the measurement results of cutting forces on a circular saw. Circular saw blade diameter, cutting height and workpiece material were the same during measurements. The influence of the circular saw blade position on cutting efficiency was investigated. The saw blade diameter was 300 mm, cutting height 12 mm and the workpiece material was fir. The saw blade position has been changed so that the distance between the work piece surface and the tangent to the saw blade ranged from 74 to 2 mm. The cutting forces were measured in both, the horizontal and the vertical direction.
