Sažetak
Yields cultivars vary considarably both in the mercantile, as in seed production. Their variation is significantly influenced by climatic conditions and the distribution of rainfall during the production year. As a result, the demand for seed of certain varieties of agricultural plants varies, and in some plant species we produce seed stocks. For the reason, often produce larger quantities of seeds need a stock of seeds stored for a long time. There are significant differences in the length of the germination of seed between plants. Grains and legumes slowly lose their germination in relation to oil and vegetables. Seeds of oats, barley, corn and wheat germination retain up to 25 years, nine years sunflower, sorghum 5-7 years, 3-4 years and hemp. On the production quality of seed affecting weather conditions of production, the type of cultivars, the presence of pests in the field, favorable grain moisture, oil content, grain damage in procesing of seeds, application of pesticides, packaging, conditions and duration of storage, biochemical tissue damage of seeds during storage, the presence of diseases and pests. Thus creating the basic conditions for maximum utilization of the genetic potential of cultivars. In unfavorable storage conditions the seeds often lose their quality, and the quality of seeds can be reduced to the seeds can not be used for sowing. It is common to observe seed germination energy and seed germination. In addition to these properties research highlights the importance of analyzing the length of calls, length of root, root mass and the mass of seedlings during storage because they are significantly correlated with the energy of germination and seed germination. The survey established commercial properties seedlings OS sunflower hibrids (Luka, Apolon, Šokac) in storage at 15 c and relative humidity 65-70% when stored for 18 months. After selecting the seeds of sunflower hibrids was carried out as a seed treatment in the following variants: T1, T2, T3 i T4. Laboratories studies were performed in the laboratory of agricultural Institute Osijek. The survey results indicate a significant effect of genotype and treatment of seed on the economic characteristics of seedlings during storage of seeds.
