Sažetak
The present invention relates to a method for thermal treatment of beehives against Varroa mites where the beehive housing lid is used comprising one or more heating bodies with fans. This method provides a safe and effective way of treating bee colonies with the aim of destroying Varroa mites by a method of hyperthermia, namely artificial heating of beehive content.
