Sažetak
Overcoming the challenges of modern business conditions on the tourism market and achieving the competitive advantage of the tourism destination is possible by adopting the learning organization model on tourism destination. This paper outlines key guidelines for the implementation of the learning organizations concept on the tourism destination, which analyzes the learning tourism destination development model. Based on the empirical research, application of the learning tourism destination in Istria is explored. The some recommendations for the implementation of this development model in Istria are made in conclusion to this paper. Given the scarcity of literature works on this subject this paper has an exceptional contribution.
