Sažetak
Zagreb Airport has been operating on its present location (17 km SE of Zagreb on a surface of 300 ha) for 4 decades. It has used the existing spacial capabilities for development almost to the full extent. Zagreb Airport will develop on the principles of viable development. That involves preserving the environment which is of much interest for future generations. The circumstances of further building and spreading have to be defined. The analysis and results of the research connected with the contamination of water and soil, and the exhaust gasses as well as the measures of prevention and presented in the paper.
