Sažetak
As part of the research project on participatory governance in culture based on the examples of the emerging or already established socio-cultural centers in the Republic of Croatia, case studies were carried out of some examples of such centers. This book chapter analyses the characteristics of the Youth Home in Split and its specificities as a socio-cultural center and explains the model of participatory governance practised there. The analysis takes into account a wider social context and cultural resources of the city of Split, and also outlines the future perspectives of its development. The book has been published as part of the project "Approaches to Participatory Governance of Cultural Institutions", carried out by the Kultura Nova Foundation and financially supported by UNESCO's International Fund for Cultural Diversity.
