Sažetak
With the development of modern technologies and increasing number of data sources and inputs itself, there is a need to store old data for the purpose of analysis whose results are used in various areas. In order to use the old data storage for analysis, the analyst has to know when the data was valid which is possible using temporal tables or temporal databases. An overview and comparison of several software tools and solutions for working with databases and data warehouses, which use temporal functionalities, has been presented in this paper. The goal of this paper is to present a review and analyze various software solutions and tools currently available on the market and make the conclusion which of those offer the best possibilities and what is expected in the future of this area.
