Sažetak
The paper points out the connection existing between sport and tourism as well as the significance of sport in the tourist offer of certain destinations. Sport facilities, sport activities and professional staff acting within the sphere of better positioning on the world tourist market. The paper describes the factors of sport tourism development and analyzes financial effects achieved by sport tourism development, by means of consumption realized by sportsmen during their stay in a destination of tourist activities on a holiday.
