Sažetak
Modern information and communication technologies are completely changing business operations, business performance, concepts of efficiency and effectiveness and the way on which company's management achieves strategic business goals and overall business strategy. In other words, digital economy era necessitates and implies that companies embrace, introduce and adjust to new and emerging digital technologies, maximize its upsides and minimize downsides, especially risks connected with cybersecurity, if they want to be successful and have competitive advantage in today's constantly changing and uncertain business environment. In the process of digital business transformation, internal audit function has irreplaceable role as an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity and it represents an effective tool for increasing business success.
