Sažetak
The grinding wheel cutting surface consists of undefined and unevenly distributed edges, space between them, as well as the pores. The value of the chips space on the grinding wheel cutting surface depends on the wheel specification , the method and conditions of dressing. In order to carry out the grinding process well, free of grinding defects on the ground surface, the possible loading of the grinding wheel cutting surface should be studied. This paper considers the equivalent grinding thickness parameter as load criterion of the grinding wheel cutting surface. It also provides an analysis of the influence of the grinding conditions, methods and dressing conditions of the grinding wheel cutting surface on its value.
