Sažetak
Some societal goals is hard to reconcile. It is not necessarily the case with the following societal goals: economic success and decent work. It is possible that non-discrimination principle complements flexibility in employment protection. It is explained via examples of flexibility mechanisms introduced in the current Labour Act. In cases when the application of non- discrimination principle is associated with the costs, the paper answers the question who needs to bear the costs of non-discrimination and is it allowed to justify discrimination by providing economic reasons.
