Sažetak
In this paper we will take a closer look at proverbs, metaphors and colors. We are aiming towards cognitive matrix that underlies proverb production. We’ ll try to shed some light on the following questions: What makes proverbs so eminently storable in the brain and so readily retrievable from it? Is there some underlying motivation for the figurative meaning associated with proverbs?
