Sažetak
Devide's japanology books reflect the kind of interest in Japan that was rather popular in the “western” world of the sixties and the seventies of the past century. In this sense, Devidé is the witness of his time, he writes and describes Japan in a way similar to some of the most popular Japanologists of those decades. The aim of this work is to deconstruct his way of presenting Japan inside the context of the “theories of Japanese“ or nihonjinron.
