Sažetak
Predictive analytics include methods that are able to model data for prediction, classification, clustering, and association purposes. In the context of Big Data paradigm, the tools for performing those methods need certain adjustments to address the Big Data volume, velocity, variety, veracity, and value. The aim of this paper is first to compare the characteristics of several biggest tools for predictive analytics according to their flexibility and adjustability to Big Data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark. The second aim is to suggest strategies for efficient exploatation of business analytics in decision making within a business intelligent system. Both predictive analytics tools and business intelligence systems need adjustments to address new trends in data collection and analyses. The paper also discusses the necessary changes in business intelligent systems regarding their impact to management decision processes.
