Sažetak
The aim of our studywas to examine different parameters of allergologic relevance in AD patients with and without concomitant respiratory allergy. Our study included 30 AD patients and 10 healthy controls. The parameteres observed included personal and family history of disease, prick test for inhalant and food allergens, scratch test to preservatives and additives, and epicuttaneous (patch) test to contact allergens, and laboratory findings, i . e. values of serum immunoglobulin (total IgE), markers on B lymphocytes for possible interaction in IgE-mediated disease (CD21 and CD23) and T lymphocytes (HLA-DR) in peripheral blood (three-color-immunofluorescence analysis on a flow cytometer/immunophenotyping). We concluded that mixed AD patients can be analyzed together with "pure" AD patients in patophysiologiucal investigation.
