Sažetak
MOOCs are tempting the rigidity, hierarchy orthodoxy and inflexibility of higher education. As such, they bring new possibilities in teaching, breaking the barriers of classical education and making education available to everyone with internet access and a will to engage. They provide opportunities in the various fields, and one of them is certainly corporate social responsibility. In order to spread the importance and role of corporate responsibility in today’s society, we believe that courses teaching CSR can be a vital instrument for this. MOOC in CSR can provide that everyone around the world interested in this field can join and learn about important concepts from the field but also, what is most important, to develop critical thinking and critical evaluation of organizational roles in today’s society. Throughout this chapter, we have tried to emphasize the possibilities and role of teaching CSR trough MOOC. Firstly, we provided background on the development of the concept and its main characteristics. All this was with a goal to provide basic information on MOOC as well as incentives and barriers in its usage and implementation. Based on an MOOC list we assessed current levels of teaching MOOC in CSR and provided some basic information and profile of these courses. Using this assessment as well as the ADDIE model we afterward present our proposition and methodology of developing a specific course in CSR.
