Sažetak
A study into vibration performance of Car Carrier, Yard No. 513, has been performed. The ship was built by Uljanik d.d., and two vibration measurements were done at two sea trials. Supported and unsupported engine induced vibration and propeller induced vibration were considered. At some measurement points excessive vibration levels were detected. Independent analysis of measurement results was done, where vibration measurement process is reviewed at first. Secondly, both global and local vibrations are evaluated and reasons of excessive local vibrations were clearly identified. Also, selection of proper vibration criteria for ship crew and ship equipment was discussed. Finally, based on the long-term experience, remedying of vibration problem was proposed.
