Sažetak
The trend and scope of enhancing education through technology is faster than ever before and offers a plethora of possibilities in 21st century language teaching and learning, delivery of innovative, creative, up-to-date and multi- media based lessons and creation of cutting-edge language materials. Since ICT is becoming an integral part and one of the defining factors in language axquisition, ESP teaching needs to be conceptualized for the digital age and technologically conscious students whose widespread smartphone ownership and 24/7 online presence make the Web one of the leading education platfoms. A possible gateway to online language learning environment is smart mobile technology, whereby MALL represents one of inevitable methods for contemporary language acquisition and smart teaching with QR Codes one of its possible uses. As in all other domains of EFL, QR Codes have a lot of potential application in ESP environment, and for the purpose of this paper their use as integral part of worksheets will be elaborated on. The study examines economics graduates' use and perception towards the use of QR Codes in Business English class subsequent to the creation of self-made smart worksheets. The paper concludes with the presentation of data collected in an in-class QR Code survey.
