Sažetak
Interactions between lignin and several essential and toxic metals were investigated in a model system simulating natural conditions. The system consists of the ascending paper chromatography of metals on paper impregnated with lignin with water as developer. The chromatographic results compared with those on free paper may indicate the behaviour in plants of the metals tested i.e. their reduced mobility by interaction with lignin.
