Sažetak
Business angels are a relatively new type of informal financial market investors who invest their personal funds in the economy and take an increasingly important place in global, but also European economies. The potential market in which business angels operate is, in reality, almost invisible compared to other capital markets, especially venture capital. This market is dominated by individuals who possess certain financial resources sufficient for engagement in some projects that are interesting only to them. The majority of them are sufficiently wealthy individuals, but also former or current successful entrepreneurs who informally try to invest their funds into projects they are interested in. Successful operations of business networks in which business angels operate depends on the quality and quantity of investment proposals offered to them. One of the most important tasks in business angels' activities is reflected in the need to ensure a steady flow of informal investments in the field of entrepreneurship.
