Sažetak
Thematic maps have got today huge significance because it is necessary to know and explore natural resources and optimal organisation of numerous human activities. Along with one topographic map of some area one can produce the tenths of thematic maps. By applying various map graphics and visualisation tools it is possible to offer the information on thematic maps about space, range, movements, directions of movements, quantities, properties, duration, frequency and relationships of data. It is also possible to present fictions, hypotheses, tendencies, possibilities, projects etc. The paper shows the most various thematic maps of the Republic of Croatia made by using programs: Atlas MapMaker, Map Viewer and AutoCAD Map.
