Sažetak
The main aim of the research is to better understand micro-foundations of innovation in the Adriatic region by taking an in-depth approach. As a result of broad literature overview and discussions of expert group, the following concepts are included as potential determinants of innovation: creativity, individual innovativeness represented by idea championing and idea implementation, cultural intelligence, task conflict, flow at work, self-efficacy, employee silence, knowledge hiding, time management, time perspectives, perceived time pressure, national culture described by individualism vs. collectivism and uncertainty avoidance. All of the selected concepts were adapted to the employees’ perspective and work environment as this is the main focus of the research on micro-level foundation of innovation.
