Sažetak
The comparisons between Central and Eastern European countries and EU, their economic and growth disparities, are very important for analysis and development strategy, especially through the issue of the enlargement of EU. The static and the time dimension of disparitie between CEEC and EU, with the respect to selected indicators are analysed. Using recent theories of economic growth and the fact that technology transfer is the main mechanism through which regional integration affects the growth, Central and Eastern European transitional countries have their future in integration and globalization process, but with required level of human capital and its flexibility to accept new products and technologies.
