Sažetak
The "Education of teachers for the Acceptance of Students with Special Needs" was carried out throughout one academic year. The objective of this research is to analyse the effect of the teachers education on students self-perception of behaviour at school and at home. The sample includes students with special needs (N 55) of both sexes, age 7-15 who attend regular elementary school. The term special needs, in this research covers children who have problems in academic skills, and that problems were mostly caused by the low cignitive abilities. The experimental group, whose teachers participated in the education, shows statistically significant increase in the results of Student Rating Scale: School, while control group show decrease.
