Sažetak
The first dictionary of Turkish loanwords, intended for those users who were unfamiliar with that part of lexis, or found it difficult to understand, was published in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Actually, a modest-sized book entitled "Turcizmi u Bosni" [Turkish leanwords in Bosnia] had already appeared in Sarajevo 1881. The subtitle of the booklet, written by Miloš Mandić, explains its content and purpose: A linguistic explanation of adopted words from the Turkish, Arabic and Persian languages. On the title page it says that the booklet is a special publication of the newspaper "Sarajevski list".
