Sažetak
The partial buffer sharing scheme is very efficient in congestion control of multiple priority loss class of the traffic. In a buffer system, it is necessary to determine multiple buffer threshold so that call loss requirements can be satisfied. It is also very useful to determine a set of optimal positions of multiple loss threshold in such a way as to maximize the admissible system load without violating the given traffic conditions and cell loss constrain. The paper presents analytic simulation results od a four-priority buffer system controlled by partial buffer sharing scheme (PBS). Dependence of optimal threshold positions and alolwable maximum load upon buffer capacity for diferent traffic structure are analyzed.
