Sažetak
In this paper, the basic of the IP Multimedia Subsystem with the special emphasis on the S- CSCF component were described. It brings a short introduction to the LTE, as the IMS is part of the LTE system, following with description of the IMS, its entities, reference points, IMS registration and IMS identification. S-CSCF and its communication with the other entities are described in the separate section, as the goal of this master thesis is to analyze traffic on the S-CSCF during the registration procedure. Before the testing results in the last section, presented in both numerical and graphical form, introduction into the Poisson traffic distribution model is given.
