Sažetak
While a lot of challenges and difficulties have been encountered in the process of making, not only the Node and Monitor, but the entire distributed OTT transcoding system, all of the major problems have been resolved thus resulting in a stable and functioning system. Given more time and polishing, the system would have easily reached a distribution quality and have a more flexible range of usage. That being said, both Node and Monitor are working properly and functioning within the initially defined requirements. Out of the features that have been implemented, most notable are transcoding into a wide variety of codecs, bitrates and similar parameters, error and job reporting to the Master and using FTP to transcode a distant video content without the need for full file transfer. In addition to Node functionalities, Monitor ones should be mentioned as well as they constantly report to Master the status of the machine running both Node and Monitor, giving it a better overall idea of how well the resources are being used.
