Sažetak
This chapter analyses a political character of space through the lens of the constitution of dromocratic society by Virillio. For Virillio's work has a special relevance for understanding the geospatial revolution and the role of spatial leverage in the digital economy. His research helps us understand a geneaology of the rise of the Western civilization for which he holds that it ought to be comprehended as speed race in the course of technnological, military and historical development. Hence, he idetifies the phenomenon of speed as specific, distinctive form of power in the Western society representing a fundamental pillar of dromocratic society – the power of invisible.
