Sažetak
Large amount of data about a product, its structure and manufacturing technology reside in various, partly structured records. Those kinds of records are in Croatian language mostly gathered under the term "sastavnica" which could be approximately translated as a form. Appliance of this term causes enough confusion and troubles in the cooperation of Croatian's companies with foreign companies. Different appliances of the same term make difficulties in data interchange between local Croatian companies, but also even between divisions inside larger companies. Therefore in this paper are posted problems in appliance of present forms and proposed several ways to remove or avoid present problems. Considered are forms used in information systems for definition of product and technology developed on Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Slavonski Brod and in public institutions and companies in Croatia.
