Sažetak
Welding preparation for connection of common shipbuilding steel pipe branches with another pipe of the same material nowadays is not sufficiently treated wthin present shipbuilding rules. In that contest it is essential to obtain coherent connection between different types of pipe brances and different types of joints on the main pipe. The use of CNC technologies in the treatment of pipe openings and their complements puts in front of the user to decide of choosing among a variety of different types of joints. In this paper the authors present their approach towards the analysis of such coherent connections between pipes prepared within CNC technologies for welding procedures. The analysis resulted in an expert system that futher implied the proposal for standardisation of pipe joint types. As a consequance, the authors suggest the substitution of existing belonging standards.
