Sažetak
The analysis is performed for optimisation of plain bearing with hydrostatic lubrication. In the purpose to establish a general optimisation procedure the unique method for calculation of force acting on the bearing surface by simple integration of lubricant flow over bearings boundary was developed. Unknown flow can be calculated by the boundary element method. From the data obtained in a such way follows the pressure in the recess and total flow through bearing, which product of multiplication is friction loss that is a subject of minimisation in the respect to the size of the bearing’s recess.
