Sažetak
A small area analysis approach has been developed for studying the health status of the population. The method consists of a database run in a microcomputer and obtained by integrating one-year data collected in everyday PHC practice, which have been processed with an IBM host computer, with data on local community units. Results can be obtained in form of tabulated reports and geographic maps. The possibilities of this systems are discussed. This approach can be regarded as a suitable analytical, evaluation and planning tool for health care in health. information systems.
