Sažetak
Experiments of gerbera growing were carried out in glasshouses of D.G. Promet Magadenovac in 1998 and 1999 years. Influence of standard top dressing and one by measuring-computer system on Ruby Red and Ornela varieties yield was investigated in the experiments. Measuring- computer system monitors change of photosyntetic active radiation and adjust top dressing to production condition unlike standard top dressing where such adaptation to interval production conditions change are not accomlished. Gerbera yields, with automatized top dressing were measured in total 650 pots (325 pots for each variety) that match area of 500 m2 and yields with standard top dressing were measured in the total of 96 pots (approximately 74 m2). Ornela variety had higher yield of commercial flowers in both investigation years with both top dressing types. Average yield with automatized top dressing was 38 flowers per pot in 1998. and 50 flowers in 1999. whereas a standard top drssing resulted in considerably lower yields (20 and 28 flowers). Influence of top dressing manner was the same as on Ruby Red variety whereas a flower yield was significantly lower in both year compared to Ornela variety: automatized top dressing resulted in 28 flowers in 1998 and 34 flowers in 1999 whereas standard top dressing resulted in 14 and 21 flowers. Automatized top dressing affect on yield is shown from relative increase compared to a standard top dressing that was 90.0 % for Ornela variety in 1998 and 78.6 % in 1999 and 100 % for Ruby Red (1998) and 61.9 % (1999).
