Sažetak
The paper discusses the main characteristics of the expert system MOULDEXPERT 92, created to help the injection moulding machine operator to remove visible moulding faults during the injection moulding of thermoplastics. The expert system attempts to reach conclusions comparable to those that would be reacted by a human specialist faced with identical problems. The system's special learning capability enables it to upgrade its performance with use. MOULDEXPERT 92 has an added facility to handle multiple faults.
